I'm ahard working individual withpositive,can-do attitude. I have excellent communication skills whilst working in a team and dealing with customers. I'm able to carry out work independently, and I'm friendly with other employees and can adapt quickly to unfamiliar environments. I'm excited to help and gain new skills through working in a positive and dedicated team.
Work Experience Participant - Five Star Futures - DWF
I had an opportunity to get work experience in law. This helped me work in a group setting, planning a mock trial and looking for evidence to support our cause. We got to work in an office setting and communicate with new people, we were also able to use our time management skills to make sure we had our evidence all sorted before the mock trial had started.
Participant - Future Assets
I have taken part in Future Assets for the second time.
Assets teaches a group of young girls about financial investments including making a presentation of a company's business plan and trying to determine if they will be a good investment in the future while providing proof to back this up. I have learnt many skills after taking part in this, such as being able to work efficiently in a group, listening to other people's ideas and working creatively with others whilst also making sure we were able to complete everything before the deadline.
(2022 - 2023)
I was a member of Equality Ambassadorsin primary and continued on in in high school. I learnt how to speak in front of a crowd and voice my opinions to provide ideas and suggestions for group discussions. I was heavily involved in event coordination to deliver talks to a primary school audience and present for assemblies infront of my school.
I took on this role in primary and learnt how to communicate with someone that may not have the same interests as me. I overcame challenges such as having to take leadership and support them in any way that they needed.
