I am a student from Teesside University pursuing Data Science, while I am doing masters I do part time jobs as well. I am allowed to work for 20 hours in a week in my course duration.
Coming to my work experiences I worked as kitchen assistant in couple of restaurants like Santorini and Jolly Sailors Restaurant and Pub. My role is to welcome the customers and treat them as our guests, taking orders, communicating with them effectively to the kitchen and in addition memorizing the menu and offering recommendations to upsell the appetizers, desserts or drinks.
End of the day I used to clean up the kitchen and make sure it looks clean tidy. In between I used to sometimes wash the dishes as well to make the kitchen clean and tidy
