I have attained my BTEC Notational Health & Social Care Level 3 Certificate and have gained excellent experience working in a variety of settings as part of my course. I am currently working at Collingwood nursing home, my duties as health care assistant consists of helping residents with personal care, toileting, serving meal and helping to feed residents. Observe monitoring and record patients condition by taking temperature, pulse, respiration and weight.

Trainee Healthcare Assistant - Croydon University Hospital – Lewisham

During this time, I worked at Croydon University Hospital as part of my Level 3 Health and Social Care course; duties:

• Support patients to meet their personal care needs sensitively and appropriately to a high standard including personal hygiene
• Assist patients when going to the toilets
• Talking to patients to keep give them company
• Assist and support the staff in wards with tasks
• Support patients when they were being discharged including sorting out documentations and transport
• Helping with feeding and refreshments

• Care for children between the ages of 6 months to three at the nursery
