Hi, I'm Sarah, a Designer passionate about design for wellbeing. I have worked as a designer in the interiors field for 7 years, after completing my Product Design degree from University of Leeds. I stepped away from the industry 7 years ago to launch my own jewellery design business with a focus on natural and sustainable materials and practices, as I recognised I was unable to find pieces on the market to suit my taste and ethical stance.
Over the last few years I have began to really miss being immersed in the interiors industry and I am intent on moving forward within Interior Design. I am currently studying for a diploma in Professional Interior Design, and given my background in Lighting Design and as a Cad Technician I feel I am well positioned, with transferrable skills, to enter a Junior role in an Interior Design firm. I am always keen to learn, pick software up quickly and work well in a supportive team environment aswell as on solo projects.
Ultimately, my ambition is to help deliver safe and healing spaces for people recovering from trauma. Thanks for your time and interest!
