I am a highly accomplished and committed Head of Compliance, with valuable expertise and a notable background in compliance leadership. I possess over 25 years’ professional experience, in particular, I am skilled in the establishment, implementation and maintenance of adequate policies and procedures sufficient to ensure compliance with business obligations.
In addition, I am capable of ensuring the compliance function has the necessary authority, resources, expertise, and access to information, and independence from activities being monitored.

I was promoted to undertake a new role, amalgamating two United Technologies businesses into one, to service the UK&I. I created and implemented the training report function and programme to segregate training modules throughout the year, thus simplifying ways of working and improving visibility, and achieved 100% of training.
Likewise, I integrated a business acquisition within the Ethics and Compliance programme, notably completing the integration in 90 days, instead of nine months as forecasted. I progressed the ethical culture across the firm, which entailed heightening awareness and implementation of compliance of the Code of Ethics, policies, procedures and controls with the objective to control risks.
I also optimised company performance, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail when conducting audits across UK branch network, followed by undertaking corrective action. I conceptualised, developed and launched the communication programme which educated personnel and channelled the Code throughout the enterprise.
In addition, I led the Ethics and Compliance programme, encompassing 3000+ staff with a total estimated sales of $500m. I contributed to the design and development of risk management policies, implementing and overseeing methodologies to drive effective risk mitigation, and I engaged as the prime liaison and Subject Matter Expert for Ethics and Compliance matters.
I planned, prepared and rolled out Data Breach awareness training, incident reporting and undertook action to ensure compliance with GDPR. I also led the group-wide ethics training programme for 3000+ employees including the on-boarding programme.
