I currently work in a FE College in the Careers and Work Placement. I deal with employers, students, parents and staff daily. I have achieved a Mental Health qualification and am currently studying a Counselling course.
I have been in Education for 15 years, and I am very passionate about supporting young people through their Education.
I currently work in Brooklands College. I am offering students Careers advice about their next steps. A great deal of welfare also comes into play as students start opening up. This is why I am achieving a counselling course, to help me further advise.
I talk to Employers daily regarding collaborating with the college, and hiring/student placements. I also teach students employability skills on how to build CVs, interview tips, and how to make first point of contact.
