As a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (September 2022), with a master’s degree in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London (2020), I am well equipped to understand the intricacies involved in high value, complex disputes.
Being an arbitration enthusiast and having worked in the niche areas of construction and commercial arbitration, I am eager to be a part of a firm, which has an extensive disputes practice.
Whilst I have majorly worked on construction disputes, I am confident that I have gained transferable skills which will assist me in my role as a disputes lawyer.
Regarding the right to work, I want to inform you that based on my current visa status, I am a “Dependent Partner”, and I therefore have the right to work until December 2026.
I have primarily worked in the field of dispute resolution in the UK, India and the Middle East.
In my previous role at MRP Advisory, Dubai, a Legal500 EMEA boutique law firm specialising in construction disputes, I have enhanced my skills in drafting and conducting research involving complex construction and commercial issues. I have handled delay and variation claims which required the understanding of engineering intricacies as well as construction contracts. I have had the opportunity to work on cross-border disputes that involved English, Indian, Omani and Singaporean laws.
My role also involved managing documents, exhibits and indexing work. I was entrusted with the duty of co-ordinating with clients and experts for the effective management and progression of the arbitration.
I completed my LL.B. from the University of Mumbai in 2019. After that, I pursued my master’s degree in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London in 2020.
