Through my participation in music and community activities, I have developed into a person who continually shows dedication, commitment and a strong teamwork ethic. My reliability is demonstrated through the attendance of weekly rehearsals, preparation and participation in school / church seasonal events and music trips abroad. This has been throughout my time in primary and secondary education.
I have been regularly invited to represent the music department and to demonstrate the studio, the music technology and instruments to prospective students at secondary school and most recently now at college. These opportunities have strengthened my hospitality and communication skills, allowing me to engage and answer any questions with confidence. My accomplishments - including winning a Young Musician Award and receiving a Queen Mary College (QMC) music scholarship – demonstrate my dedication, reliability and ability to perform to a high standard.
Beyond music, my participation in Scouts has enabled me to develop practical problem-solving skills as well as pioneering / orienteering abilities. These experiences have also strengthened my capacity to work with others and take on leadership responsibilities when required. I would now like to further these skills in a professional setting to prepare myself for a career within the music industry.
