Shahnaz Akter

I recently graduated from Aston University with a 2:1 grade in Mathematics. I have augmented my studies with a comprehensive mathematical knowledge base and possess strong communication and leadership skills, which I acquired through both my degree studies and work experiences. I am eagerly anticipating a challenging job that will enable me to apply theory into practice and further develop my skills.

In my role as a Data Collection & Enrolment Assistant at Birmingham Metropolitan College, I have gained valuable experience in administrative tasks within a fast-paced environment. This includes inputting and extracting data, analyzing data for funding purposes, conducting outbound calls, and managing emails effectively. My experience as a Mentor at Lode Heath School allowed me to develop strong organizational skills while conducting tutoring sessions for students of various grade levels.

I mentored students from diverse backgrounds, helping them achieve their career goals and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. This role also required collaboration with peers and maintaining accurate records of student progress.
