Shailey Sokoli

I am passionate about supporting young people with their mental health to enable them to be their best self and have a fulfilling life.

As the Educational Mental Health Practitioner Lead at the Mental Health Support Team, I have almost 3 years of experience in supporting the emotional and mental wellbeing of children and young people. I am skilled in providing individual and group therapeutic interventions, conducting assessments, and implementing evidence-based strategies to promote positive mental health. I have also lead on whole school approach and develped and delivered many workshops.

Previously, as a Learning Mentor at Mellers Primary School for over 13 years, I developed strong skills in supporting students' academic and emotional development. My passion lies in supporting young people to reach their full potential and thrive. I am known for my independence, positivity, and ability to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those I work with.
