2011

I began work within the hospitality sector as a food & beverage host. Serving hotel guests to a high standard and welcoming polite manner.

2012

I began my career in retail at Gap. During my time here I covered a multitude of tasks:

Processing transactions on the Tills, greeting and serving customers, processing deliveries, ensuring stock was well presented throughout the store. During my time here I also progressed to a Keyholder position for 5.5years, I therefore had added responsibilities of managing a larger team, monitoring time management of tasks for not only myself for also for team members, handling cash both in the mornings and evenings, dealing with customer complaints and conference calls.

2021

In October 2021,i began working as a wedding ceremony co-ordinator. This is an independent role so time management is an important factor. I open up the venue before any guests or staff arrive. Greet guests on arrival and usher them to the main room of the hall to take their seats.

I will meet the groom on arrival and await the brides arrival. I will help her with her dress/veil or and last min adjustments before she makes her reveal to her partner and guests. I remain available throughout the ceremony to assist if needed.

I make sure everything runs on time as we have tight time slots within the venue for multiple weddings per day.

I stay behind afterwards to clean and tidy the venue. Also within this role I will have showrounds for couples who potentially want to be married at the venue, so there is also an aspect of sales within this role.
