After working as a support worker for 12 years, I'm ready for a change. I can work as part of a team or independently, and focus on being organised. Not only am I keen to learn any new skills required in my new role, I'm also keen to share any skills I may have to contribute to the job. I can speak a little B.S.L. (enough to hold a conversation).
I've had various training including C.O.S.H.H, Health and Safety and fire training.
I enjoy holidays that involve cave exploring, as long as the cave isn't too challenging. Rock and heavy metal are my main go to when listening to music, but I do listen to all types of tunes.
Currently looking for a permanent contract of 28-36 hours per week.
12 years as a support worker at Coopers Mill Ltd, supporting adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. This includes medication administration and assistance with personal care.
I was a reception assistant at Skaterz in Walpole Highway before the business came under new ownership. Ensured facilities were clean and tidy at the end of each session. I also covered the cafe area when necessary.
Previous to the above, I worked over 10 years for Thomas Clarkson Academy in Wisbech. Promoted to Assistant Caterer which h involved dealing with the front of house, biometric tills, and helped to develop an after school coffee shop.
Other positions have been held ranging from cashier /clerk for the Co-operative Bank, to sales assistant in a department store, to office work.
O level in Maths, English, Statistics and Biology. C.S.E in Physical Science (chemistry and physics) , Childcare, Typing and keyboard skills, Art and Drama.
NVQ 2 in Professional Cookery, Customer Service, Team Leading Principles. BIIAB 3 DIPLOMA (NVQ 3) in Health and Social Care (Adults).
Training: First Aid, Epilepsy Awarness, COSHH, Health and Safety.
