My passion is to provide the best service for older person's possible promoting independence, choice and dignity. During my career I have gained much experience within this field. As an individual I am caring, conscientious, self motivated and strive to achieve the highest standards.

As well as being organised, kind and compassionate I possess excellent communication skills and have the ability and experience to relate to a wide range of people building a good rapport. On a day to day basis I am always willing and prepared to go the extra mile required. Having a great sense of humour is an added bonus.

• Assisting with form filling/benefits and being able to resource funding
• Setting up exercise groups and coffee mornings and holding blood pressure events, promoting awareness and fund raising

I was privileged to work with a lovely gentleman who had suffered three strokes.

I was based at Haslemere Hospital where I managed a team of 150 Home Helps and delivered a service to over 450 Clients.

• Recruit, complete CRB checks, carry out induction training and apply for references
• Assess suitability to ensure the charity recruited the best applicants for the role of Home Help
• Officially registered new employees
• Network on a daily basis building strategic alliances to promote the service by means of local newspapers, community news and presentations to professionals and other community organisations
• Take referrals and arrange convenient times to visit Client and families in their own homes
• Complete health and safety checks and ensure that Clients were claiming the relevant benefits
• Sign the Clients up to the service or sign-post them onwards depending on their individual needs
• Monitor the service, liaising with family/friends and professions to ensure that high standards were maintained
• Develop Home Helps by offering NVQ's to all and provide ongoing support

Guildford Branch Manager / Deputy Care Manager - Quality Care (SE) Ltd - Guildford

My duties at Quality Care were:- as Deputy, to support the Care Manager in the day to day running of the service. As Branch Manager:- The same duties as above but also including liaising with Clients, families, health professionals, Area Coordinators and Support Workers.

Temporary Relief Area Care Advisor - Age Concern Surrey - Surrey

Employed short term to cover sickness/annual leave for Care Advisors in the Surrey area. During this period I was also privileged to care for a lady called Ruth who was terminally ill. I cared for her in the comfort of her own home, her wish was to die there, in comfort and peace with dignity.

Care Manager - Care At Home Age Concern Surrey

I joined Age Concern initially as an Administrative Support Worker. My duties included general administration, liaising with Clients and Carers and general trouble shooting of the day to day running of the service. Within a year, I was offered the position of Care Manager, this position I job shared.

• Generating weekly bookings, payroll, invoicing Clients
• Liaise with other agencies, social services and health professionals
