Whilst I was working for Banbury Taxi Carriage call centre, I gained a lot of new skills. It helped me to be more confident when talking to clients on the phone and helping them in what needed to be done. I made sure I was engaged and polite, ensuring they are satisfied with their service.
I also managed to improve on other skills, such as time keeping. This was because I had a lot of tasks to complete within time limits, and during times when we got really busy, I was able to handle and manage things, working efficiently which kept a smooth system running. This job role involved me sorting out databases on the computers and answering calls in a professional manner.

Working in a warehouse was quite different to my job before, this was because we had to work at a fast pace and as a team under different conditions. We had to always deliver to our best ability and make sure it was always up to standards.

My main job role was to book in cars when they arrived from delivery. I also parked them in their allocated spaces and went around with a time sheet to mark which cars had arrived at the bay and which ones were still to come. From time to time I interacted with customers and made them feel very welcome whilst they were looking around.
I enjoyed this job as it helped improve my confidence and time management skills. I enjoy working with cars and driving so I felt this was a great experience for me to move further up in an industry I have passion for.

Whilst I worked in Esso petrol station, I had many responsibilities such as assisting and serving customers, accepting payments, stocking up the shelves, keeping the shop floor/ forecourt clean and tidy. I use to enjoy stocking up all the shelves making sure the shop looked presentable and tidy.
