Currently looking for opportunities to enter the gaming industry as a QA tester. I am very passionate about gaming since I play it everyday and I would like to change it into a career. I would also like to learn more about the gaming industry as a whole. And even one day help other undiscovered talents try to get into the gaming industry.
Recently won a career competition called "Into Games50" which help undiscovered talents get noticed by the gaming industry. And I am proud and honour to have been selected as one of the winners.
This competition required me to write a portfolio which consists of a: test plan, understanding different types of QA tests that are used during testing phase such as; functionality, regression, stability and many more, submitting bug reports using JIRA, categorising different types of bugs depending on their severity, A class being high severity to C class being low severity.
From previous jobs, I have developed skills which are positive qualities for being part of a QA team such as teamwork, communication, patience, organisation skills, calm manner whilst under pressure.
