As a waiter I honed essential customer service and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. I am skilled at predicting customer needs, resolving issues efficiently, and keeping a friendly and professional manner, even during peak hours. This role required persuasive communication skills to effectively take orders, explain menu items, and address customer's needs, which helped me develop active listening and clear communication techniques.

Furthermore, I consistently met deadlines by being on time. I learned the importance of teamwork and collaboration to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. These skills- customer focus, effective communication, problem solving, and teamwork- are directly transferable to the industry, where creating a safe and a positive atmosphere is essential.
