I am a qualified LD nurse with experience in community, respite and using homes. I am currently looking for a part time role which involves clinical skills and patient interaction.
Following my nurse graduation in Feb 23 I completed my preceptorship in the community for 15 months where I gained experience in assessments (inc risk, dementia, behaviour, GASS) whilst working alongside an MDT to provide care to people with a learning disability living in the community. Other tasks included depo injections and health facilitation.
Further experience has included nursing home and respite nursing where I have focused on more clinical support.
