Sipho Sibanda

I hold a BSc in Social Policy and am presently engaged in temporary work through an agency. My diverse professional background includes supporting young people in homeless hostels, working with Looked after children (LAC) aged 11 to 18, and serving as a health care assistant for older individuals. Additionally, I have valuable experience assisting people seeking refuge in Northern Ireland, providing support to navigate their day-to-day lives.

My commitment extends beyond paid roles, as evidenced by my involvement in voluntary community groups where I've actively contributed to organizational development and volunteer host schemes. Through collaboration with referral organizations like Homeplus NI and Red Cross, I have actively recruited hosts to ensure ongoing support for destitute individuals seeking refuge in both short and long-term capacities.

I am currently working for First Choice Agency recruitment, as a Health Care Assistant/Support worker. I have worked for First Choice since 2019 on a zero hour contract.
