Over 20 years of experience across European project management, research and innovation support, technology transfer, employability, career services and labour-market analysis.
Currently working in the Employment Observatory, contributing to graduate surveys, analytical frameworks and indicators, statistical analysis, institutional reports and dissemination of labour-market evidence. Previous responsibilities include managing national and EU-funded projects, preparing project proposals, coordinating international partnerships and stakeholders, organising employability and university–business initiatives, and supporting research and innovation activities.
Experience includes cross-border and international projects involving universities, public authorities, companies and other institutional partners across Europe and Latin America.
Education
PhD in Labour Relations and Human Resources — University of Santiago de Compostela | 2024–present - Research focus: age management, demographic change and transitions from employment to retirement. Mixed-methods research, questionnaire design and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Master’s Degree in Sociology — University of Porto | 2023 - Advanced training in social research and quantitative data analysis, including SPSS.
Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations — NOVA University Lisbon | 2002 - Focus on political institutions, European integration, international relations and social science research methods.
