Placement Teacher - SEND School - Westgate

I successfully applied for a highly competitive placement within a SEND school, which required the completion of a written application and essay. I was fortunate to secure a placement at Westgate, where I gained valuable experience working with pupils with additional needs. This placement challenged me by moving me outside my comfort zone—from EYFS, KS1, and KS2 into a secondary SEND setting—and provided significant insight into a wide range of needs and effective teaching approaches.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Westgate and am extremely grateful for the valuable skills, knowledge, and professional insight I gained during this experience.
