I hate the word dynamic, but I'm going to use it because it's the only word that seems to make sense of my professional life: I'm at my most happy when crossing the rickety bridge between science and the arts - I have a keen interest in how communications are used in policy and media alike!
As a Psychology graduate and a year's work at YouGov under my bely, I'm well versed in data analysis. I regularly write for different web publications surrounding culture, identity and music. My most recent marketing role was blended creatively and analytically - I produced copy across platforms, undertook focus groups and was involved in content creation at all levels. I undertook these duties, including a more analytical role unpicking insights from the CRM to inform our marketing efforts.
Otherwise, I enjoy creating tongue-in-cheek graphics on Photoshop, and writing poetry.
In my earlier professional life, I worked in person-centred roles: caring for elderly people with dementia, working in education and involving myself in community action. During university, I volunteered with Action For Refugees in Lewisham as a teaching assistant for children who were seeking asylum, or refugee status.
I like to think the things I learned while in those roles guide everything I do. I try my best to bring compassion and understanding to all my endeavours.
