I'm a qualified Chartered Accountant with in excess of 20 year pqe. I have extensive eperiene in consolidtions, statutory accounts, FRS101, FRS102 and monthly reporting. I'm immediately available for interim roles.

• Manage the preparation of the International business financial reporting for submission to the US parent on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis in accordance with US GAAP and timely resolving of queries raised
• Ensuring that adequate controls exist around the preparation and review of the monthly financial reporting
• Cash flow – perform a detailed review of the monthly cash flow statement, explaining significant variances from budget/forecast 
• Preparing ad-hoc financial information and analysis as required by the Group’s parent
• Ensuring that the accounting for any new acquisitions is in accordance with US GAAP
• In conjunction with the Head of Financial Reporting, provide training to the different regional and country teams on the application of US GAAP and the preparation of the period end results
• Provide ad hoc advice to country teams on the preparation and submission of their period end results
• Assist the Head of Financial Reporting in making updates to the Group Finance Manual
• Ensuring the Group’s compliance with its Financial Controls Framework by performing a selection of balance sheet and controls reviews during the year
• Manage the year and quarter end external audit process, developing close working relationship with external auditors and ensuring smooth sign-off for group and local statutory reporting, minimising management letter points and additional fees
• Coordinate other external advisors when appropriate (ie pension actuaries, solicitors)
