Finance Reporting Manager, The Bathurst Estate, from June 2022 to Present
I joined the finance team for the Bathurst Estate taking on the role to create and improve financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities and Achievements
- Streamlining and adapting Monthly Management Reports - Reducing the reporting time from multiple days to under a day, whilst implementing additional sub-reports to fit the needs of specific stakeholders.
- Partial automation of weekly and daily financial reports in Excel through the use of macros, improving accuracy and ease of use for other team members.
- Undertook review of processes and procedures within the reporting and implement enhancements,
- Provided additional Excel and Microsoft Office support to all parts of the business.
- Involvement in monthly payment runs and ad-hoc payments for suppliers.
- Assisting in onsite auditing of divisions of the business.
Graduate Through-Life Support Engineer, DSSEC, from January 2021 – June 2022
I joined the DSSEC Graduate Scheme where I provided Integrated Logistic Support to the defence Sector.
Key responsibilities
- Writing and issuing of weekly and monthly reports to key stakeholders and customers.
- Design and implementation of a new Inventory Management System in Microsoft Access for use by an external client to ensure accurate stock takes.
- Development and management of the Obsolesce Management Service for a customer including the issuing of regular Obsolesce Notification Documents.
- Creation of a new Access based Obsolescence Management Log for the customer’s software and hardware, in order to increase productivity.
- Training of new staff members on a variety of processes and procedures.
Graduate Business Analyst / Pricing Analyst, Park Place Technologies formerly MCSA July 2018 – January 2021.
In September 2019 I started a new role as Pricing Analyst with Park Place Technologies following their acquisition of MCSA. I adapted quickly to using new processes and systems and as part of a new team working across multiple worldwide offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing of third-party hardware maintenance quotes to strict deadlines to ensure SLAs were met.
- Direct collaboration with local and international sales teams to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Interpretation of hardware scripts and customer configuration files.
- Technical product knowledge across a variety of IT manufacturers.
- Procurement of spare parts for engineers on customer callouts.
Voluntary Work
During October of 2017 I volunteered as part of a team at the University of Portsmouth who contributed to the OpenStreetMap mapping of Dominica following Hurricane Maria. Collaborating with staff, students, and industry professionals I was able to aid in the mapping of the most heavily affected areas in order to help with rescue efforts in the immediate aftermath.
