I am a competent health care worker who always work in the best interest of the people I work with and the organisation I work for . I am a hard worker who ensures the provision of high quality of care following the organisational policies and procedures. I put the safety of patients, visitors and my colleagues first.

I am a good communicator who communicates effectively with clients, team ,relatives and outside agencies inorder to have positive treatment outcome. I am passionate and committed to my job and I get immense job satisfaction from helping vulnerable people . I am courageous, able to be a voice to the voiceless and stand for the vulnerable people . I am reliable and competent support worker with good active listening skills

I always do my best to deliver person centered care by respecting patients ' privacy and dignity, their views and to keep them up to date with their care. I ensure that clients and are treated in a non discriminatory and non-judgemental manner regardless of their religion,gender and race, in line with equal opportunities policies.

I am know how to keep up to date records of clients . I also know how to follow care plans and when to initiate them for the convenience of my clients.

I have a passion for learning and improvement hence I will continuously take courses,attend workshops and trainings to develop myself and render high quality service. I believe working for your organisation will give me more insight in nursing career.

Maintaining confidentiality is my responsibility as a health care worker. Patients ' information privacy and dignity is respected by only sharing the information with professionals and those authorized to gain access to it. I am fully aware that the only time patient confidentiality can be compromised is when the patient is at risk.

Safeguarding training equipped me with an in-depth understanding of securing the welfare of my client,my self and fellow workers. I also understand how to raise safeguarding issues and to do a follow-up on the safeguarding referral.

I am a good team player who always considers others’ ideas to achieve set objectives. I can work under minimum supervision to perform delegated tasks and report back to the registered health care professionaIs.

I am aware of my limitations and the importance of risk identification, risk management, risk formulation and the minimisation of risks.

I am fully aware of my responsibility to ensure that I undertake trainings to enable me to operate equipment effectively and allocated tasks for safety of myself and my clients. I am fully aware of my boundaries and I will not deviate from my assigned role to perform tasks that I am not trained or certified to perform . In terms of alarming observations I take responsibility to inform the registered nurse or health professionals my concerns with immediate effect.

Health and safety training is crucial as it gave me an in-depth understanding of my responsibility to monitor my actions as they can affect myself,my clients, visitors and any other person, hence Patients’ safety is a top priority. Health and safety policies knowledge at the workplace must be followed to minimise risk and are crucial in providing concrete steps to be followed in the event that accidents and Incidents occur.

Infection control is everyone's responsibility and I am aware of the organisational policy for personal and patient 's safety and to prevent health care associated infections. There are many methods to prevent infection which includes consistence, and compliance in hand hygiene,use of protective equipment, trainings and appropriate disposal of items like sharps.

Conclusively , I am positive that I am the right candidate for this role as most of my skills and competencies are transferable and can match those on the job description.
