I have experience supporting individuals with additional needs in both educational and care settings. I am committed to person-centred care, promoting independence, wellbeing and inclusion. I am reliable, compassionate and skilled at adapting support to meet individual needs while maintaining dignity, safety and respect.
I am a qualified Physical Education teacher with experience working across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting young people with a wide range of abilities and needs. Alongside my teaching role, I also work as a Disability Support Worker, where I provide person-centred support to individuals with additional needs to help them live safely, confidently, and as independently as possible.
Through my roles, I have developed strong skills in communication, behaviour support, teamwork, and safeguarding. I am experienced in adapting activities, routines, and communication styles to meet individual needs, promoting inclusion, dignity, and respect at all times. I am calm, reliable, and confident working with individuals who may present physical, learning, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
