I have spent 4 ½ years working in hospitality. For two years I worked front of house then in the kitchen at Booths Café, Penwortham. I am experienced as a barista and have worked as sous chef at the Brown Hare Pub for 3 months.
For 5 months I have also worked as a waitress at Keswick Country House Hotel where I enjoyed success and great reviews on Facebook. I have excellent ability to work with people and I also enjoy cooking. I would like to work in a varied environment in hospitality and learn new skills to take forward in my career.
I am a friendly, hard working person with a good sense of humour. I am looking for a job in a lively place and I will work well with your customers, both young and old. I am an excellent team member. Mainly because I work hard, but also make people laugh.
I wish to get a job where I work with the public as I think my personality is friendly and fun. I enjoy working in a team but also I am resourceful and capable of working solo. I have also shown I can take on responsibility in a team and thrive in any new role.
Commis Chef / Kitchen Assistant at Brown Hare Pub (2025-04 – Present)
I was initially employed as a kitchen assistant but have quickly been promoted to commis chef due to my previous experience and skills. This is a fast-paced role, preparing, cooking, and presenting meals to specification. I support the senior kitchen team with daily operations and culinary preparation and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
Waitress at Keswick Country House Hotel (2025-10 – 2026-02)
Over the winter season I worked as a waitress at Keswick Country House Hotel. I was trained as a silver service waitress and worked with my team to serve up to 150 customers in one sitting. I can work under pressure and always know how to put the customer first. I always served with a smile and have been particularly proud of the occasions when I got personal mentions on Trip Advisor etc. I helped out with housekeeping on several occasions as well and am always willing to learn new skills.
Barista and Chef at Booths Café (2022-08 – 2025-10)

I was also given responsibility for opening and shutting down at the end of the day and doing all the required health and safety checks in the café and kitchen. On several occasions I have been commended for my good customer service and awarded 'Worker of the Month'.
Shot Girl at Baluga Bar and Floriana's (Present)
I worked as a 'shot girl' in two clubs in Preston. This weekend night job gave me experience working in bars and also greatly increased my confidence. I know for a fact I can deal with some very 'tricky customers' in a humorous, non confrontational way!
Multiple Roles at Puccini's Pizza Takeaway
I also worked at Puccini's pizza takeaway where I served customers, washed up, took phone orders, worked at the oven, made pizzas and pasta.
