- Drafted Legal Documents: prepared range of legal documents, engagement letters, contracts, deeds, and TR1 forms, particularly focusing on property sales agreements.
- Conducted Property Searches: Thoroughly conduct property searches to identify and address any legal restrictions or issues that may impact property transactions.
- Client Communication: Effectively liaised with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other involved parties throughout transactions. Provide regular updates, respond promptly to queries.
- Case File Management: managed and maintained case files and records, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. Ensure all documents and correspondence are accurately filed and securely stored. Preformed AML checks on clients via our third party partner.

- Financial: to allocate monies coming in from clients, lenders and solicitors to the correct accounts, meticulously send large amounts of monies on completions to lenders, solicitors, clients and estate agents, preparing bills and statements for clients.

Fundamental support for the Service Charge team executing several administrative matters. My responsibilities included conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting in case preparation. Collaborating closely with the other solicitors to gather relevant information, maintain case files, and ensure accuracy in legal documentation.
Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts in sectors such as IT services, marketing agreements, and vendor relationships. I worked closely with the legal department and business teams, assessing and negotiating key contractual terms to ensure all agreements met company standards. I also provided litigation support in the form of responding to county court claims and assisting with dispute resolution.
My role also included maintaining strong records of contract documentation and offering legal advice on day-to-day business operations.
- Postal duties: Categorising and allocating incoming post to each team member and ensuring outgoing post was being processed in a timely manner, this included Section 20 Notices to residents, letters and emails.
- Time management: Coordinating meetings, booking meeting rooms for the team or with internal staff, and scheduling virtual team meetings. Sustaining the team calendar regarding workshops and deadlines due. Some minute taking was included.
- Client rapport: Being the first point of contact with residents, establishing positive rapports with housing residents ensuring they receive the best customer service and reassuring their needs are being met.
- Data management: Revising documents and data within the internal system used by the team. Developing a functional yet viable system that works for the team to use and adhere too.
