- Assisted the firm’s Partner with day to day activities including:
Preparation of meeting with new and existing clients by arranging appointment time, diarising, booking conference rooms, preparing appropriate documents for the meeting and briefing the Partner on each client’s situation.
- Worked in a team of 4 comprised of two Solicitors and two Secretaries:
Coordinated between myself and the other Secretary to spread the workload with utmost efficiency. Prioritised tasks by consulting with our superiors. The various tasks consisted:
- Typing dictated instructions and executing them;
- Drafting letters to clients;

- Filling in Court Forms such as Form E Financial Statement for a Financial Order;

- studying their case, drafting 1st draft and sending it for comments to my superior,
- incorporating the comments and posting the Letter to the recipient,
- following on the progress and if there is a need making a money claim the in the appropriate court;
- supervising the claim process and reporting this to my superior.

- Explored complex benefits and housing issues on behalf of clients;
- Guided clients with their legal housing matters by collaborating with council and other organisations;
- Referred client cases to tribunals when appropriate.

- Complied with GDPR by obtaining clients’ consent and setting up their profiles in internal case management system;
