• Manage AVL budgets of SAR 1.7M to 5.3M (about £330K to £1.03M) and temporary power budgets of SAR 800k to 1.5M (about £135K to £290K) per project
• Lead and delegate to crews of around 25 power technicians and 30 AVL technicians through build, show and derig
• Design power distribution strategies with primary and backup supply to every event zone, in line with HSE standards and risk assessments
• Run AV and production procurement: check supplier quotations line by line against the BOQ and benchmark costs against market rates. Wrote the AVL and power sections of tender proposals for large-scale sporting events
• Scope and deliver technical requirements with clients, creative teams and local suppliers for activations, F&B, AVL, production cabins and welfare facilities
• Plan and coordinate installation and derig schedules to meet tight deadlines without operational delays
• Act as the main link between technical crews, project managers and stakeholders, resolving live issues on site
• Deploy and configure Wi-Fi access points and dedicated event networks for site-wide connectivity
