About

I have always been a positive worker; with whatever job or task I am assigned I will have targets that I will set out to achieve. I have achieved my engineering level 3 in college and now I want to get on the path to establish a career in this field. I had time exploring possible opportunities within my career but now I have decided that engineering is the preferred field to pursue a career in.

I have always had a passion for engineering, the thought of working with machinery to make peoples visions into reality always give me a real buzz. I can show an understanding of engineering due to me achieving level 3 in electronic and mechanical engineering in 2018. Although I am young, I am very eager to learn and pick up where I left off which I see as a positive, I am always enthusiastic about new opportunities to learn and then show what I have learnt with new tasks.

I am always open to new learning/training to establish a career in this industry, as it would be a big start to planning my personal future also.

Experience

Service Engineer - Whirlpool

(2021-08)

I have been trained and employed by whirlpool as a service engineer and have been independent on the field since this role has been one I enjoy as I have not worked in this sort of environment before of going to people houses/properties to work on their appliances, with this role you have to take extra precautions when it comes to safety and the well being of the surroundings as it is people's property. I have taken on a lot of responsibility since taking this role and enjoy taking on new opportunities to learn more about the business process

Work Experience - Domex

For 2 weeks at the end of June I was given a terrific opportunity to do work experience with an appliance repair company called Domex, I shadowed an engineer for 2 weeks and was able to take on a lot of new knowledge and give myself the experience needed to apply for other jobs in the field.

Chef - Miller and Carter, Bexley - Bexley

I have been at miller and carter for 2 1/2years due to them wanting someone to start in the back kitchen and work their way up to the front-line serving food to guests with the highest standards, being a chef was something I always wanted to do for a period in my life

Volunteer Leader - Boys Brigade and Girls Association

I have been with the Boys Brigade and Girls association for 15 years; I have recently become a leader after being in the company as a member. I am now playing a role in helping to run evening sessions. I now take an active role in teaching drill/marching as I have been the top marcher at the company for 4 years until I was no longer able to compete in competitions due to becoming 18.

I have also achieved my Queens badge within the company which is the highest honour possible within the Boys brigade.
