Dear to whom it may concern.
I’m a 51-year-old female, whom I would say is a very hard working. And who likes a challenge?
I have been interested in catering, since the milk marketing board made a visit to my primary school in the early eighties and when Delia Smith first made her first tv appearance.
I got my first waitressing role when I was 13 years of age cleaning tables on a Saturday in a restaurant that we visited as a family regularly.
At 17,I went to Catering College, and then got a job in a hotel to gain lots of experience in all aspects of Catering.
Over the years I have tried my hands in all areas of the catering departments.
I attended Dudley College to gain qualifications and knowledge of using Computers, obtaining qualifications in Word, Excel and databases, with also learning the basics on emails and making folders, which I feel I have fully made use of within my past jobs.
I’ve worked mainly in the Catering Sector, which in all honesty Customer Service is the main key area.
My current role is in a castle in Matlock, Derbyshire. It was a little run down after it had been closed for a number of years. The Kitchen and Restaurants needed a full deep clean. I managed to turn it round in 6 months and operational by May 2021when the first schools were visiting.
In the last 2 years with the help of my team of 12, policies, procedures and cleaning schedules were put in place and a hygiene rating of 5 stars was achieved.
Please if there is anything further, I can assist with please do not hesitate to get in touch.
I’ve worked with teams of people all my life from taking on duties given to me by heads of departments to me given and organising teams.
I can work on my own and believe I can fully use my own initiative if I can see a task needs achieving.
I achieved all GCSE‘s at school and went on to achieve other qualifications,
