I took a career break to focus on raising my daughter during her early years, providing her with the care, support, and stability she needed during an important stage of her development. This time strengthened my skills in organisation, time management, problem-solving, and adaptability while managing the responsibilities of family life.

As my daughter has become more independent, I am now ready and enthusiastic to return to the workplace and apply both my previous professional experience and the valuable skills I developed during my career break.

Dental Practice Manager at JDRM dental (2023-09 – 2025-08)

• Practice Administration – responsible for overseeing day to day administrative activities. This includes managing schedules, coordinating appointments and handling patient inquiries.
• Financial Management – managing financial aspects of the practice, which involves overseeing billing and collections, managing payroll and preparing financial reports for practice owners.
• Staff Management – Responsible for recruiting and training staff members, such as dental hygienists, nurses and administrative personnel. Also playing a key role in managing staff schedules, conducting performance reviews and addressing any HR related issues.
• Inventory management – Responsible for managing inventory of dental supplies, which entails ordering, monitoring stock levels and ensuring that the practice has necessary supplies to provide quality care to patients.
• Regulatory Compliance – In charge of ensuring dental practice operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, by keeping up to date on any changes and implementing these through relevant policies and procedures.
• Patient Relations – Playing an active role in maintaining positive relationships with patients by addressing any concerns they have and using all feedback – positive or negative – constructively in order to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
• Marketing and Business Development – Developing marketing initiatives with my team in order to attract new patients and retain existing ones, including social media content.
• Risk Management – Responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks to the practice, including issues related to patient safety, malpractice claims and other liabilities. This involves implementing risk management protocols and ensuring staff members are trained in best practice to minimise risk.
