Attained 2 years of virology laboratory experience as an Associate Practitioner at Leicester Royal Infirmary serving throughout the pandemic with regards to SARS-COV-2 testing. Assisiting in Sample Reception using MSC Class ll cabinet as well as using Laboratory Operation Management systems such as iLAB and ICE systems for registration of patient data. Following Q-Pulse and SOPs to maintain standardised procedures.
Experience in operating, troubleshooting and carrying out maintenance on Panther, QiaSymphony, Novodiag, Amplidiag, GeneExpert Infinity, Cepheid, AusDiagnostic MT-PCR analysers. Highly competent member of staff, able to train others and maintain good laboratory practices.
