Experienced proofreader/editor and French-English translator with an MSc in Translation Studies
In my previous position as a Translator and Project Manager at a translation agency, I managed the translations, quality control checks and client relationships of several high-profile accounts. A significant aspect of this role involved proofreading the translations of external linguists to ensure that my clients’ projects met their needs, adhered to their chosen style and were linguistically accurate. This required both attention to detail as a proofreader, as well as an ability to communicate effectively with clients to deliver the best possible service.
I hold an MSc in Translation Studies with Distinction and an MA in French with Film & Television Studies (First Class Honours), both from the University of Glasgow.
