Daily duties included a lot of responsibilities ranging from serving customers on the main bank tills, helping customers on the self-scan tills, serving customers on the customer service desk, putting stock back on the shelves at the end of a night shift, taking coupons out of the self-scan tills and putting them in a box to take upstairs to the cash office, sweeping the self-scan tills and main bank tills, mopping both of them, and picking items for customers for home delivery.

In charge of the team, delegating positions whether on the main bank tills, self-scan tills or customer service. Responsible for telling team members when their breaks were due and when to take them. Authorised queries on tills, answered calls on the main bank tills if colleagues had queries, ensured all bags were filled up next to the self-scan tills and on the main bank tills.
At the end of the night, emptied 4 self-scan tills ICH's with a store manager writing all the information from the machine receipt, then emptied the main bank tills where ICH amounts were over £3000 and the manager put the money wallets in a bag and wrote down all the serial numbers, then both took them upstairs to the cash office for the team in the morning.

Role included placing all the cutlery on the table needed for lunch, collecting children from classrooms and ensuring they all lined up with a sheet indicating whether each child had a packed lunch or dinner. Walked them to the lunchroom, showed them where they were sitting, gave them their food, wiped the tables down after they finished, escorted them outside for playtime and observed them, then told them to line up once the bell had rung and escorted them back to their classrooms.
