My main reasonability's here was as a HGV class 2 driver driving a 26 tonne lorry all over the country delivering admixture to cement sites using mechanical machinery to pump in the product into tanks. I also worked a year on nights as a folk lift driver which i had to load 7 Arctic Lorries a day using a forklift making sure they were within the weight restrictions. Also shunt around the ridged Lorries for me and my colleges to load.
It involved a lot of forklift loading, scanning and organising as we had freight going to as far as Scotland. As we handle Hazardous material as well I've also gained a basic ADR knowledge working here.

My main reasonability's here was to Load 7 Ridged Lorries a day using a folklift making sure they were in drop order and safe to drive with. Also look after the warehouse and look after any incoming and outgoing post, collections or any other small deliveries. I also gained a HGV licence whilst i was here and was driving and delivering big pallets of paper and stationary to schools all across the south of England including London.
I learned my trade by having a London round for at least 3 months so i gain experience driving a heavy good vehicle through them types of roads.

Recently been given my own costa coffee unit to manage after the successful launch of a new unit in the Luton campus. My duties are to help oversee five different sites within the establishment which included Hospitality, Refectory, two coffee shops Costa Coffee and our own brand Café Neo also a Mace retail store. I'm also an health and safety Representative for both sites.
During my time here I have learn many management skills mainly how to manage staff. I opened and closed sites, Cashed up, ordering and checking stock and entering into our system, I've helped organised big function events like graduation containing over 1000 people a day also University's open day. I've worked with a numerous other members off staff within the university to help or assist in any job they need.
I also learnt the E- Profit program which enabled me to do closing of books and recipe online and able to read daily sales forecasts and hit monthly targets. I had a great involvement of opening these new sites this year, had a great input in marketing and advertisement within the university and enjoyed every minute of it. I also refreshed and was in charge of all Risk assessments and safety management sys
