• Checked incoming deliveries against paperwork and weighing records, logging short, damaged or mislabelled bags before stock was accepted.
• Carried out regular cycle counts and full stock takes, reconciling physical counts against system records and investigating any variances.
• Traced a stock shortfall to a dispatch that had been loaded but not recorded; corrected the record, informed my supervisor and introduced a daily check of dispatch paperwork against the system to prevent repeats.
• Monitored stock levels and the age of each lot, applying FIFO rotation and flagging low or slow-moving stock so reorders and dispatches could be planned in time.
• Spotted moisture-affected bags during a routine check, separated them from good stock, marked them as damaged on the system so they were not dispatched, and helped move stock to a drier area.
• Relabelled and relocated misplaced or mislabelled bags and corrected their system records so stock could be found and picked accurately.
• Completed end-of-day inventory updates and dispatch paperwork for the office, and kept storage areas organised, clean and clearly labelled.

• Set up and dismantled rooms for conferences and events to strict timings, switching between layouts across multiple bookings a day.
