I have work experience in elderly care, mental health support work and end-of-life care especially night-based work, I am passionate about helping people and providing the best level of care and support to individuals that have been in my care, I can develop a good rapport with people and I know how to use a low-key approach when required to help de-escalate forms challenging behaviour, I know how to use both manual and electronic hoists, assist to the level of assistance that a person needs in accordance to their care plan, such as: taking a person out into the community safely, medication administration (oral and topical), promoting/building of valuable life skills and filling in care notes and necessary legal biding paperwork.
