As a dedicated individual striving to pursue a career in the healthcare sector while completing my studies in Operating Department Practice, I bring with me 19 years of valuable experience in both care and hospital settings. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of patient care, compassion, and the importance of providing support to individuals in need. My extensive experience has equipped me with a range of skills, including excellent communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

• I began my career in 2005 by working in a nursing home for two years upon arriving in the UK, where I developed my skills in providing care for residents.
• Transitioning to Redhill Hospital, I served as a care assistant in different wards, allowing me to enhance my abilities in patient care and support.
• In 2013, I relocated to Nottingham to work at Lings Bar rehabilitation hospital, where I gained exposure to rehabilitation services and patient recovery.
• Following this, I joined the City Hospital DSU as a theatre support worker, providing assistance to surgical teams and learning about operating theatre procedures.
• To further my career, I pursued an apprenticeship university course to become a Theatre Assistant Practitioner (band 4), demonstrating my commitment to professional development.
• I also took on additional shifts at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) as a care assistant through the NHSP, showcasing my dedication to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Currently, I am in my third year of training to become an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), highlighting my continuous professional growth and determination to progress in the healthcare sector.
