I am a registered nurse with over 10 years of experience across various different hospitals in the UK. Experienced in working on medical and surgical wards, I am highly competent in medication administration and record keeping.
My kind and polite manner puts patients and their relatives at ease during stressful circumstances. Excellent communication skills assist me to empathise with patients and project a high standard of professionalism. Most importantly my caring and sincere personality enhances my ability to carry out a nursing role both as an educator to my peers and juniors and as a nurse to my patients.
I have worked on a gynaecology ward as a registered nurse.
I also worked as a midwife for 6 years across antenatal, labour ward and the postnatal ward.
Following a career break within which I trained as a teaching assistant I returned to practice as a nurse to an acute care medical and surgical ward with a specialism in cardiology and endocrinology.
I have trained further to specialise in diabetes management and have worked as a practice assessor and a mentor to junior staff and student nurses.
