Zanna Allen

Hello, I am a freelance illustrator living and working by the Kentish coast. I have a fascination in the natural world - my love of wildlife on both land and sea being a prevailing feature within in my work.

I have worked as a freelance illustrator on projects ranging from logo to book cover design and illustration, for clients including Palgrave Macmillan, University of Liverpool and the H G Wells Society. I am also a creative business partner of Zan and Me, an illustrator and potter duo creating illustrated ceramics. My illustration work has had a particular focus on health and wellbeing, the environment and nature, which are all passions of mine.

I have also worked for a number of art organisations assisting with brand/web design and promotional material, which has given me invaluable experience in design for both digital and printed platforms.

I have an art and design background. I completed a Foundation degree in Art & Design at the University of Creative Arts at Canterbury in 2009 before going on to study Illustration at Middlesex University London and being awarded Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in 2013.
