I am currently studying at Itecskills looking for an opportunity to pursue my passion and craft for vehicle maintenance. I am an organised, customer-focused and experienced individual, dedicated to delivering high class results. My background is in vehicle bodywork and I have a Body and Paint Vehicle Finishing Level 2 qualification. However, I am versatile, and keen to learn and upskill in all aspects in the motor trade, including vehicle servicing, repairing, panel beating and MOTS.

Administration Assistant - Vale of Glamorgan Council - Alps

As part of a placement through Itec, I previously worked as an administration assistant for the VOG Council. I worked in the service garage where I booked MOT appointments for the public as well as taxi firms. I dealt with customer queries face-to-face and over the phone, which included tasks like organising recovery vehicles for cars that had been in an accident or a breakdown.

Additionally, I utilised the parts ordering system to ensure we had stock available for the onsite mechanic alongside making sure that waste collection staff had correctly logged their working hours. The time I spent here gave me an understanding of the motor industry and how to connect with the people around you.

• Prepare orders - note down what they want and prepare it and hand it to the customer
• Clean and tidy environment - wash hands before and after making food, clean surface once the customers are gone and tidy the workplace so no hazards can occur.
• Cashier - welcoming the customers and remembering the prices independently and total the amount then tell the customer how much they need to pay.
