• Conduct pre-loading inspections on vessel tanks and shore tanks to ensure they are clean, contamination-free, and compliant with safety standards.
• Perform ullage/sounding measurements on vessel and terminal tanks, as well as barge gauging on coal barges, to determine the quantity of liquid cargo and coal.
• Calculate cargo volume, density, temperature, displacement, and weight using API/ASTM Tables and draft survey calculation methods.

• Ensure all survey activities comply with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures within port, terminal, and stockpile areas.
