Involve in conference calls with customer and offshore company sites for requirement gathering and finalization of requirement specifications, scope of work in conjunction with Functional Manager, Departmental Head and Program Manager. Work aggressively on Rapid proto typing needs, allocating and purchasing parts for NPI proto-build, NPI BoM costing, supplier identification and liaise with New Supplier Sourcing, highlight and work on critical parts on priority.

The company was in the field of Electronic Manufacturing Services offered services and solutions in design, prototyping and manufacturing of Electronic Products. Worked on Design of Camera Module used in cell phone handsets, involving development of various miniature Camera Modules (based on COB design) used across wide range of mobile phones. It also includes camera modules compliant to SMIA standard (followed by Nokia); some of them are gold wire bonding on Rigid FR-4 & Flex substrate using Micron and ST Micro sensors.

Design of camera module, involving Sourcing and selection of supplier base for Image sensor, Lens & Holder, work in conjunction with lens and optical experts of suppliers. Space analysis - floor plan estimate for substrate design layout. Finalize PCB substrate design, fabrication and support substrate design layout (for COB process).

• Distinction of successfully managing the sample build of camera modules Flex Cable Camera Module, the sample build production was outsourced to a Singapore based assembly house (UTAC), was sent to Singapore and other assembly house in India for industrial visit and trial run

• Worked on other EMS products, launching series of Mitek Audio amplifiers (17 Models), etc. and many other new products from business team for manufacturing, mass production setup and transfer
• Co-ordinate PCB design activity of Audio amplifier PCBs, since the customer lacked PCB designers, this activity was assigned to us in the design phase itself
• Generation of part numbers/ordering information from the datasheet and send it for customer approval
• Work with customer to find electronic components and find alternate for standard parts for wider component base/AVL, execute customer change request/ECO implementation in building further units
