As a consultant, I am spearheading a multitude of responsibilities spanning assessment of patients preoperatively, deploying full surgical leadership and management capabilities in creating the pathway to providing state-of-the-art care in Maxillofacial surgery/ Head & Neck surgeries and set the organization apart as a leader in providing multi-disciplinary surgical services with a high success rate.
I am providing clinical leadership to ensure personalized, safe, effective and timely patient care as well as performing cancer surgeries independently, provided care for urgent and routine ward patients. Providing consultation and surgical assistance to other physicians and surgeons as required; showing realistic insight into specialty and the demands of surgery and acted as an effective patient advocate towards reflective and an analytical approach to practice. Applying sound clinical knowledge, prioritizing clinical needs and demonstrating appropriate technical competence of excellent diagnostic skills and judgment.
I am a dedicated consultant with enriched experience and expertise of around 9 years after masters in oral & maxillofacial surgery, sub specialized in head & neck oncology/ reconstruction. Over the years I have been handling complex oral and head/neck malignancies (squamous cell carcinomas, basal cell carcinomas, melanomas, sarcomas) and have performed around 2000 minor/major / supra major head & neck cancer surgeries which include wide local excisions, bite composite resections, neck dissections (RND/MRND/SOHND) and reconstructive surgical procedures like local flaps, nasolabial flaps, submental flaps, platysmal flaps, deltopectoral flaps, pectoralis major myocutaneous flaps and distant flaps.
I have also performed around 1200 maxillofacial cases which include cranio-maxillofacial trauma, odontogenic infections, salivary gland surgeries, TMJ surgeries, benign cysts of jaws, benign tumors of jaws and face, paragangliomas of head/neck, vascular lesions of face, developmental pathologies of children, mucormycosis and other various minor oral surgical procedures( extractions, wisdom tooth surgeries, preprosthetic surgeries, Caldwell-luc surgeries) with some experience in genioplasty and anterior maxillary osteotomies.
