I am an independent cancer research scientist with experience in bioinformatics, application programming and software development. I have built, managed and maintained several software applications for biological research especially in cancer biomarker discovery. I have worked both in academic and commerical entities and was a part of several start-up organisations in my career.
I have project management, team playing skills and have lead small and large groups in bioinformatics firms. I have worked with cloud computing, and HPCs and am comfortable in coding in UNIX bash scripts, python and R for cancer data analysis. I have also used machine learning and AI algorithms in my past roles and have trained junior employees and wet lab scientists for thier projects and career building.
