- Refilling & Availability: Ensuring that the "Size Set" (S, M, L, XL, etc.) is always complete on the floor. If a size is missing, coordinating with the warehouse/receiving team to bring it out immediately.
- Slow-Moving Analysis: Identifying "Non-Moving" or "Slow-Moving" garments and coordinating with the Store Manager to implement markdowns or partial markdowns to clear old stock.
- FIFO Compliance: Ensuring older stock is moved to the front (where applicable, though garments are often managed by seasonal "Lot" codes).
- Display Standards: Ensuring all garments are properly folded or hung according to company planograms.
- Price Board Accuracy: Verifying that the correct price boards and offer tags (e.g., "Buy 2 for ₹X") are clearly visible and match the system price.
- Department Hygiene: Maintaining a clean and dust-free environment in the trial rooms and on the garment racks.
- Freshness: Regularly steaming or straightening garments that have been handled or tried on by customers to maintain a "new" look.
- Briefing & De-briefing: Leading short morning meetings with floor staff to set daily targets and evening meetings to review what was achieved.
- Manpower Planning: Reviewing staff schedules to ensure the garment section is never understaffed, especially during peak evening hours and weekends.
- On-the-Job Training: Coaching junior floor staff on fabric types, size charts, and how to assist customers effectively.
- Trial Room Management: Implementing strict controls at the trial rooms (e.g., tag counting, checking pockets) to prevent shoplifting.
- Tagging: Ensuring all items are properly security-tagged and that price tags are securely attached to prevent "tag switching."
- Root Cause Analysis: If stock is missing during audits, performing a root cause analysis to see if it was a scanning error, theft, or a receiving mistake.
- Customer Assistance: Guiding customers to the correct sections (Men's, Women's, Kids') and helping them find the right sizes.
- Complaint Resolution: Handling customer returns or exchanges for garments (checking for tags and quality before accepting) and resolving any pricing disputes.
- Quick Checkout: During high footfall hours, coordinating with the cash point to ensure garment customers are processed quickly.
