About
Electrical & Electronics Engineering graduate with hands-on experience in real-time embedded firmware, closed-loop control, and power electronics. Built bare-metal Embedded C on the TI TMS320F28379D (C2000 DSP) for a 600V/15A three-phase inverter and vector control of an induction motor up to 1500 RPM. Comfortable working at the register level and debugging across the hardware-firmware boundary on high-power platforms.
Experience
Embedded Systems & Motor Control Intern at CEMETA, The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore (2025-02 – 2025-05)
- Wrote Embedded C firmware for closed-loop vector control of a modified 4-pole induction motor on the TI TMS320F28379D, running it up to 1500 RPM at 22.5V.
- Handled the startup transition from six-step commutation to rotor-position-based gate pulse generation.
- Set up ADC peripherals to read three-phase current feedback (Ia, Ib, Ic) for the control loop.
- Configured and debugged PWM, GPIO, CPU Timers, Interrupts, and eQEP peripherals along the way.
- Worked with the team on hardware integration and troubleshooting during testing.
