Let's start from the beginning, shall we? When I was young, I have always dreamt of becoming an automotive designer. It seemed an appropriate dream considering my BTech in Mechanical engineering. But little did I know that I would gravitate toward business management.
I started my career as a procurement manager for an automotive company. During two years, I gained a breadth of experience of how the business actually works. I realized I loved digging into business problems and focusing on key results, while quickly adapting myself to the new insights.
I was enthusiastic about growing and gaining new skills and soon I obtained an MBA with a focus on marketing and strategy.
I interned in an FMCG company and learned the importance of prioritizing customer's needs over all other aspects of the business. While conducting market research for my internship project, I realized how data should drive business decisions, along with fresh creativity to support it.
In my previous role, I was involved in identifying customer’s requirements and meeting them, both in terms of quality and affordability. With strong business acumen and the ability to empathize with the customer, I thrived on helping them with feasible solutions.
When I’m not working, I would be taking photographs as I travel. These photographs help me relive and cherish the memories I had with my friends and family. I am an avid reader; I usually read nonfiction, based on productivity and business. There is certainly a lot more to learn and yet more to solve.
At present, I am seeking to apply my business acumen and affinity for customer experience to Product Management roles.
