Cancer biologist with interdisciplinary expertise in the molecular mechanisms governing cancer initiation, progression, and therapeutic response. Built a strong scientific foundation at NISER, India, with training in protein expression, purification, and structural biology. During doctoral research at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, developed multidisciplinary expertise using in vitro, ex vivo, in ovo, and in silico models to investigate how PARP1-driven chromatin remodeling and epigenetic changes regulate DNA repair, oncogene transcriptional activation, extracellular signaling, and tumor angiogenesis.
This research has provided broader expertise across cancer biology, including DNA repair, cancer immunology, metabolism, virus-associated cancers, tumor microenvironment, and nanotechnology-based therapeutic approaches. I am motivated to pursue postdoctoral research in cancer immunology, cancer metabolism, cancer epigenetics, chromatin biology, and extracellular vesicles to examine the molecular mechanisms that drive cancer progression and therapeutic response and to identify new ways to improve treatment outcomes.
